House of the Dragon returns in June

House of the Dragon season 2 premieres June 16 on HBO.

The acclaimed Game of Thrones spin-off series is coming back almost a year and a half after the season one finale. Don’t worry if the events of season one are a bit foggy after all this time: House of the Dragon has released two competing trailers for the new season—one for #TeamBlack and one for #TeamGreen—to jog viewers’ memory and stoke enthusiasm.

And there’s plenty to be enthusiastic about; according to the showrunner, this season will feature more dragons than the previous one. But for viewers who can’t wait until June, the series follows the plot of George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood.
