In recent months, TikTok has become the most talked-about social media app, and one that has proven to be a sales driver. TikTok is a social media app used largely (62%) by the under-29 crowd, but there is still a significant percentage of users over age 30. Because of their appearances on the app, we’ve seen major sales spikes for WE WERE LIARS, BURN AFTER WRITING, and A LITTLE LIFE, among others.

Because the content on TikTok is user-generated, we don’t know in advance when a title’s sales will be impacted by appearing on TikTok. The following list includes titles we know have been featured, ranked by overall rate of movement. As we learn more, we hope to be able to provide more specific details about how MUCH TikTok can influence sales. In the meantime, many of these titles are still selling incredibly well.
