The lovable antihero Hank is back in another over-the-top, hilarious adventure that explores friendship and kindness, this time on the farm, in this board book for fans of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

Hank the goose has a tendency to peck--and none of the animals on the farm is safe! Will he EVER learn to be more considerate of his friends? This colorful, sturdy book features a "pecked" die cut on the cover and on each spread.

The lovable antihero Hank the goose is back--and he's causing more chaos than ever! He loves to peck, so when he sees the chicks bouncing and playing, he pecks a hole in their trampoline. He punctures the piglets' inflatable pool, and he pecks at the sheep's knitting, causing a tangled mess. He just can't help himself--but Hank, NOT THE BULL!

Will Hank EVER learn to be considerate of his friends? Children will love Hank's hilarious antics and silly noises, while grown-ups will appreciate the themes of friendship, recognizing others' feelings, and being considerate of those around us.

In this follow-up to Hank Goes Honk (2024), Hank has a “pesky” habit of pecking just about everything, from a trampoline to an inflatable raft to a knitted scarf. A time-out and even an uncomfortable encounter with a bull fail to tame Hank’s pecking. Cleverly placed holes throughout the book, some round and others ragged, represent Hank’s pecks (and are integrated into the illustrations on the backs of the pages as well). Hank’s dour expression and silly hat belie his mischievous actions. Although Hank may not be a favorite with adults, preschoolers will likely find Beedie’s illustrations of Hank’s naughty pecking and its madcap consequences hilarious. --Booklist
